Vertical Computer Systems, Inc. Launches Two New Sites

TheWorldBridge.com, TheIndiaBridge.com and the upgraded TheUSBridge.com welcome the online global community

LOS ANGELES, CA., November 16, 2000 – Vertical Computer Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VCSY), today announced the official launch of TheWorldBridge.com, TheIndiaBridge.com, and unveiled the redesigned TheUSBridge.com site.

The Company has been gearing up for the launch with an increasingly high-profile marketing and promotions drive. With the final completion of the new-look Home Country Gateways (HCGs), the Company intends to implement the full range of marketing and advertising campaigns that have been drawn up in conjunction with strategic partners Avenel and Entertainment Marketing Group (EMG).

Richard Wade, President of Vertical Computer Systems, Inc., expressed his excitement at the new look and feel of the Home Country Gateways, calling the re-launch “a red letter day for the Company,” and urging the many VCSY supporters and shareholders to log-on and experience the revamped HCGs, powered by VCSY’s cutting-edge Emily™ technology.

A long list of advanced user-friendly features have been incorporated into the family of Bridges, all thanks to the pioneering relationships that VCSY has established with companies such as Webbe, Inc., an innovative designer of communication applications for the Internet. Webbe is a downloadable integrated client application that bundles a host of functions and enables them to appear on the user’s screen as a virtual remote control. Some of the features now available on the gateways through Webbe are:

    • Instant Foreign Language Chat
    • ENotes - Instant electronic yellow notes
    • ELinks - Instant electronic green notes that link to other web pages
    • EMinders - Instant blue notes that remind users of the important things in life such as Birthdays
    • File transfer - Drag and drop files of any size
    • Portal Links - To all theWorldBridge Pages

With the successful launch completed, the Company intends to incorporate the new design work and features into both TheChinaBridge.com and TheBrazilBridge.com and all future members of the Home Country Gateway family.

"We have come a long way in the last few months," reflected Wade. "We exist in a supremely competitive and challenging environment and realize the importance of continuing to evolve and innovate. In redesigning our premier web destinations, we wanted to showcase the capabilities of our suite of software solutions. We believe that we are now positioned to continue with our strategic plan involving penetrating international markets using our HCG network and global partners, thereby creating a platform to distribute our products and services, and technology."
